Deposit & Cancellation Policy
Reservations and Advance Deposits:
A minimum advance deposit payment of $250 is required to secure your reservation. Your telephone reservation will be held 5 days pending receipt of your advance deposit payment Advance deposit payments may be made by personal check or credit card. Confirmation of your reservation will be sent upon receipt of your deposit. If the advance deposit payment is not received by the required date, or if your credit card is declined, the reservation will be cancelled and made available to other prospective guests. A valid credit card will be kept on file and be used for any additional charges such as damages to property, lost keys, missing items, extra cleaning and late checkouts.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Advance deposits are non-refundable unless the cancelled cottage is re-rented for the entire period originally reserved. When and If the cottage is re-rented, the advance deposit will be gladly refunded less a $50.00 service charge. No refunds will be made for late arrivals or early departures
Check In/Payment:
Your advance deposit will guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance will be paid in full upon check in.
Check IN/Check OUT:
3:00 pm CHECK IN 9:00 am CHECK OUT Please adhere to the check in and check out times. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. Late checkouts are charged at $30.00 per hour as our cleaning staff is standing by.
Parking:
Three parking spaces are included with each cottage.
No Smoking:
No smoking is allowed in any of the cottages or in the Lakewood Lounge.
No Pets:
No pets are allowed.
Linens/Miscellaneous Items:
Bring your own linens, pillows, towels, soap, shampoo, paper products, etc.
Included with your unit:
- Refrigerator, stove, coffee pot and toaster
- Dishes, pots, pans, flatware, glasses, etc.
- Picnic table and grill outside various units
- Upon request, baby cribs and high chairs available to rent
- Shared by all: Children’s playground, basketball court, fish cleaning house and fire pit. The Lakewood Lounge provides free Wi-Fi, along with a place to relax, read books, play games, or compete in a game of pool.
Not Included:
- Pillows, bed linens, blankets
- Towels, soap and paper products
